Overall Summary
Provide customers (both internal and external) requested parts and accessories in a timely manner. In addition to specifying the correctly needed items, the Parts Counterperson is responsible to solicit additional sales; charges out merchandise using the Dealer Management System, follow-up on special orders, tag, store and process warranty parts, assist in conducting inventory cycle counts and keep inventory area, parts counter and retail area/displays clean and orderly.

Expertly maintain wholesale customer accounts, quotes and orders via OEC and similar industry software as well as over the phone. Serve as a reliable point of contact for wholesale shops, retail customers and internal service/ body shop teams, communicating effectively via phone, in-person and email. Receive, unpack, and accurately store parts. Check quantity and condition against invoices. Coordinate parts orders with Body shops & Service team. Process customer returns and ensure that they follow internal policies. Help service technicians when necessary. Accuracy is key. Use resources at hand including technicians, other parts department employees, and online sources to find answers. Professionalism: Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the counter, work area, and stockroom at all times.
