We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Hyundai A-Level Technician to join our team. As a top-tier technician, you will be responsible for advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and providing technical leadership within the service department. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Hyundai vehicles, a strong commitment to quality, and the ability to mentor junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on Hyundai vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards.

Conduct vehicle inspections and identify service needs using Hyundai-specific tools and diagnostic equipment.

Interpret and resolve diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) using Hyundai GDS (Global Diagnostic System).

Collaborate with Service Advisors to communicate findings and recommend necessary repairs.

Ensure high-quality workmanship and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Stay current on Hyundai technical service bulletins (TSBs) and recall information.

Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed.

Mentor and support entry-level and mid-level technicians.

Attend required Hyundai training and certification programs to maintain A-Level status.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical school or ASE certifications preferred.

Hyundai A-Level Certification or equivalent factory certification.

Minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience, preferably with Hyundai/Kia, but all experience is welcome.

Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with GDS and other manufacturer-specific diagnostic equipment.

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
