AUTO SERVICE TECH/MECHANIC - JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards Perform maintenance service including oil changes, tire work, and other needed maintenance items. Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs. Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers. Learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to keep up with rapidly changing technology. Inspect vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: As an Auto Service Tech/Mechanic, you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as a Service Tech/Mechanic: • Experience in auto service OR recent completion of automotive tech/trade school • Valid driver’s license • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service • Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, A/C equipment, etc.) • Must be willing to pass a background check, DMV screen, and drug screen prior to employment.

Employment Position: Full Time

Salary: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 Yearly

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
