Overall Summary
As a service consultant you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records. You will serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.

We have exciting Service Advisor opportunities at our Walser Hyundai Brooklyn Park location:
Compensation Range: $36,000 base pay + incentives. Averaging 50-100k target earnings with incentives. Paid by hours sold in service.
This position requires that you are physically active during your shift. This may include, but is not limited to, walking, driving, stooping.
How do our Service Advisors Drive Impact?
Our Service Advisors work with the service team to provide customer satisfaction with customer concerns and repairs. Some of the responsibilities would include:
- Acting as the face of Walser
- Executing follow up techniques with customers Understanding basic automotive repairs, executing follow up techniques, and communicating with customers
- All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned
What We're Looking For
Reliable with a Positive Attitude
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Exceptional customer service skills
Prior automotive experience a plus!
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience working in a team environment
High level of detail orientation and accuracy
