Overall Summary

As a service consultant you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records. You will serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.

Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist customers, understanding their vehicle concerns.
• Coordinate with the service department to schedule and prioritize repairs.
• Provide transparent cost estimates and explain invoices to customers.
• Educate customers on preventive maintenance and optimal vehicle performance.
• Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in automotive service advisory roles preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills, including service management software.
