A Service Department Porter Advisor (or just Porter) moves customer & dealership vehicles, keeps lots tidy, helps with basic vehicle prep (wash, fluids, fuel), assists service consultants with write-ups/keys, manages the flow of cars, and ensures the service drive is welcoming, acting as a bridge between customers and technicians for smooth service operations.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Management: Park, retrieve, and organize vehicles on the lot and in the service drive; move cars to and from service bays; manage loaner vehicle availability.

Customer Assistance: Greet customers, assist with vehicle check-in/out, offer refreshments in the lounge, and handle basic customer requests.

Vehicle Preparation: Wash exteriors, clean interiors, check tire pressure, add fuel/fluids (like windshield washer fluid), and ensure vehicles are presentable.

Service Support: Assist Service Advisors with tagging vehicles, returning keys, and ensuring paperwork is in order; update repair order statuses.

Lot & Facility Maintenance: Keep the service drive, lot, and customer areas clean and orderly; remove debris; maintain display standards.

Employment Position: Full Time

Salary: $12.00 - $18.00 Hourly
