A Quick Lube Technician performs essential vehicle maintenance like oil changes, filter replacements (oil, air, cabin), fluid checks (coolant, brake, power steering, transmission), and tire services (pressure, rotation) while conducting multi-point inspections, identifying other needed repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction by communicating findings and maintaining a clean, safe work area.
Key Responsibilities:
Oil Changes: Drain old oil, replace oil filters, and refill with correct oil type/amount.
Fluid Maintenance: Check, top off, and/or replace fluids like coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and windshield washer fluid.
Filter Services: Replace air, cabin, and fuel filters.
Tire Services: Check tire pressure, add air, rotate tires, and inspect for wear.
Inspections: Perform multi-point inspections, checking for leaks, worn parts, and other issues.
Customer Service: Communicate findings to customers or service advisors, recommend additional services, and provide a positive experience.
Maintenance: Lubricate chassis/moving parts, replace wiper blades, and keep work area clean and safe.
