3-5+ years of Dealership Experience as a Service Manager
Adept with the use of CDK
Experience with X-Time
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Exceptional communication skills. Both verbal & written.

Joe Machens Hyundai Service Manager Job Description:
As Service Manager, you are responsible to lead the department & to manage the day to day operations of the Service Drive. The Service Manager is responsible for ensuring that our customers are provided with the best service experience possible.
The Successful Joe Machens Hyundai Service Manager:
Ensuring customer satisfaction is the top priority and that our Machens Hyundai customers receive excellent service & follow up during their service visit.
Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of the Service Advisors.
Works with the advisors to ensure proper dispatch of work throughout the shop to our technicians to ensure a consistent and robust flow of work for our technicians.
Ensures that the customer waiting area is neat, tidy, and organized.
Ensures that the customer snack/beverage area is stocked.
Develop and implement strategies to increase service revenue.
Understands and ensures compliance with Hyundai manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
Maintains and excellent relationship with OEM representatives
Monitors & controls the performance of the department through the use of company reporting, tracking systems, X-Time, and CSI Surveys.
Ensures that quality Service repairs are performed each and every time to minimize customer comebacks. Conducting periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality control.
Establish excellent working relationships with our customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
Establishes harmony & teamwork within the service dept and all other dealership departments.
Work with the Sales Mgmt team to ensure that New & Used vehicles are properly PDI'd and / or reconditioned and ready for immediate sale.
Ensure that all OEM campaigns are remedied in a business like time frame.
Ensure that the Courtesy Vehicle is clean, professional, and presentable to all customers at all times.
Ensure that the Service Shop is clean, un-cluttered, and safe at all times.
Performs all other duties associated with the management of a successful Hyundai dealership.
